As we grow in the future though, our needs may change and we could very well decide that a few extra talented people would be great to have around. Hang out on our forums and keep your ears open, you never know when we might hint around at our expansion plans!

Why are there no freebies?

This is a good question because all of us know that freebies seem to make the digital world turn. Truth be told though, they are very costly for a site to maintain and while lots of people love to download them many of those same people don't really care to stick around and participate in the various communities and help make them grow. It is for these reasons that the designers at the Sweet Shoppe have decided NOT to offer freebies here on the site.

We are quite aware that many digital customers like to try a designers work before they buy to get an idea of the quality they can expect when they make a purchase. It is for this reason, that we are pleased to offer our customers the Sweet Shoppe Designs Quarterly Assortment. In it, you will find a new and unique, high quality sample created especially for the assortment from each of our designers. You'll get 60 papers and lots of yummy toppings to sprinkle on your pages for the very low price of $4.99. All funds from the assortment are directed towards site maintenance and we feel it will offer our customers a very inexpensive way to sample the goods before they make more substantial purchases from us.

In addition to our SSD Quarterly Assortment, we also encourage you to check out the Sweet Shoppe Blog as you never know what kind of treats may pop up every now and again!

I can see that I can upload to your gallery now. Are there any rules?

Thanks for noticing this HUGE change in our site! We are very excited to now have an uploadable member gallery and can't wait for you to share your pages with us. We'd really like for our gallery to be a place for the Sweet Shoppe community to come together and get involved in our challenges, share their pages with us and most importantly, we want our gallery to be a constant source of inspiration on how to use Sweet Shoppe Products.

So keeping that ideal in mind, we'd like to ask that you only post layouts on which you've used Sweet Shoppe goodies OR post layouts using other designers products that you've created to participate in one of our SWEET weekly challenges. We hope that you can respect that ideal and if you are looking for a place to archive all of your pages or market for a creative team, we give our highest recommendation to the wonderful open gallery at Digi Shop Talk.

When are new items added to The Sweet Shoppe?

When are new challenges added to The Sweet Shoppe Forums?

We are so excited to announce that we now have an amazing selection of inspirational weekly challenges here at Sweet Shoppe Designs. Hosted by some of the MOST creative people in the community, you'll be able to join in and earn points towards super delicious Sweet Shoppe discounts. Every Wednesday morning, you'll find our newest challenges posted in our challenge forum! We hope you'll jump right in and challenge yourself to take your layouts to the next level!

What forms of payment are accepted at Sweet Shoppe Designs?

In the past, the only method of payment accepted at Sweet Shoppe Designs was Paypal. We are proud to announce that we now offer the option to pay using Paypal or your Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover credit cards. You can feel secure using your credit card at Sweet Shoppe Designs because the shoppe is SSL encrypted and verified through Comodo.

If you are paying through Paypal, you will be directed to Paypal's website where you can pay for your goods. Once your transaction is complete at their site, you will be redirected back to the Sweet Shoppe where your downloads will be available for you to enjoy.

If you are paying using an e-check through Paypal, your order WILL be pending until the funds are released from your bank account and Paypal pays the shoppe. This process can take 3-4 BUSINESS days, so please be aware of the delay when using the echeck option at Paypal. Once we receive notice that the funds have cleared from your bank account, your products will be released and available for download.

If you are paying by credit card, once your transation has been approved directly here on our site, your downloads will be available immediately on the checkout confirmation page.

Can I share purchased Sweet Shoppe Designs products with friends/relatives?

While we know dessert is a delicious thing to share with a friend or family member, our delectable designs come portioned as single servings only! If your friend or family member wants a taste, we would appreciate it if you would point them in our direction and tell them to purchase a treat of their own. Please review the terms of use included in EVERY product you download from our site for further details on what you may and may NOT do with our designs.

Is commercial use of Sweet Shoppe Designs products permitted?

In general, most of the designers at Sweet Shoppe Designs DO NOT allow for commercial use of their products. If you are working on a special project and you would like to know if what you are working on is allowed, please contact each designer individually via e-mail or private message in our forums.

Do you offer a CD burning service?

At this time SSD does not offer a CD burning service. However, if we see there is an interest in the future we just may add it to our list of services. If this is something you would like to see offered, feel free to send an e-mail to admin@sweetshoppedesigns.com with your request.

Will Sweet Shoppe Designs have frequent discount sales?

Well, the truth is that everyone LOVES a sale and the sweet shoppe designers know this! So from time to time you can expect to see both individual sales as each designer sees fit and also special event sales in which the whole site will be involved. Check back often to see what we're up to!

What is the proper way to credit a Sweet Shoppe Designs designer when using their products?

We realize that the terms of use varies from site to site so there is really no single correct way to credit the SSD designers. Ideally though, if the site you are posting on allows it, we'd like you to include the designer's name, the name of her kit and Sweet Shoppe Designs in your credits. Additionally, if you ever get published using the work of one of our designers in Creating Keepsakes, Simple Scrapbooks, Scrapbooks Etc. or Digital Scrapbooking Magazine, drop a note to admin@sweetshoppedesigns.com with the magazine and issue your page will be appearing in and we'll reward you with a free kit of your choice from our shoppe upon confirmation! We really appreciate your support of our site in the community, we couldn't do what we do if it weren't for scrappers like you using our delicious designs!

I saw a SSD product used in a fellow scrapper's layout, but I can't find this item in your shoppe. Where could it be?

It's possible that the product you are looking for has been retired. Feel free to PM the designer whose products you are looking for, she may be able to help you with its whereabouts..

I am new to digital scrapbooking. Will I find tutorials and how-to guides at SSD?

Actually, you wont, we're a small site with a small staff and that's the way we'd like it to stay for now. We know what our strengths are and we'd like to focus our attention on what we do best and that's design. There are some fabulous resources out there though for digital scrapbookers who are just starting out and if you haven't checked these out, we recommend that you do!

DigiScrappin with Jen - a Blog with information on just about anything and everything you'd want to know about our craft. A great place to start and then some!
Scrapbook Bytes Tutorials - THE #1 Digital Scrap site on the internet for a reason. They have lots of program specific tutorials that focus on a wide variety of aspects of digital scrapbooking.
ScrapArtist - There are a handful of really good tutorials in the forums at ScrapArtist, certainly worth checking out for newbie and experienced scrappers alike.

I love tacos...do you like them too? Is there anything else you guys are especially fond of?

Funny you should ask...we actually like anything involving tortillas. Burritos are quite delcicious! Tostadas, taquitos and flautas are lovely and crisp. We love a good cheesy quesadilla or enchillada too. So yes, we definitely like tacos! As far as the bit about other things we're particularly fond of...we have quite a liking for goats, donkeys and llamas too!
