Hi there! It’s Celeste here. Way back in May I told you about my anniversary vacation hopes and realities. Remember Paris? I had settled on Montreal, but of course neither of us got our act together and actually signed up for a passport. We were in quite a conundrum and really didn’t have any idea what to do. Then it hit me, the beginning of our relationship was spent on Martha’s Vineyard. We lived and worked there, got engaged there, and were even married on the island. We hadn’t been back in ten years. What better time to getaway for the weekend than now?

So this past weekend, we headed to the ferry and had a whirlwind tour of all of our old haunts.

There is no bridge to the Vineyard. You have to take a 45 minute ferry ride to get there.

We saw some old friends and ate in some of our most favorite restaurants/farm stands!

We visited the place we were engaged and the new library that replaced the one I used to work in. My first “real” job.

It was a fabulous weekend for just the two of us. I can’t wait to scrap all about it!
