My Pretty Ballerinas
Hi everyone! It’s Dana and I thought I would spend a few seconds bragging about my girlies today 🙂 I was trying to think of something else to write about – but after several days of trying to come up with a good idea, I realized that all my time lately has been spent doing “end-of-the-year” stuff with my kiddos. One of our favorite activities so far has definitely been the girls’ ballet recital – which was last Sunday. My mom flew out to attend – and she wasn’t disappointed. The recital was so fun 🙂 There is just nothing cuter than seeing little girls dance and be soooooo proud of themselves! Each of my girls had two group dances – one ballet and one tap. We also saw older girls doing hip hop, lyrical and jazz – there were 56 dances total (!) (OK- if I’m being completely honest – 56 dances were too many 😉 – even though they were all fabulous). I didn’t formally dance much as a child, but I am so excited that my girls are involved with dance and are enjoying it. I look forward to many more years of dance with them 🙂
Of course I HAD to scrap a picture of the girls (and this won’t be my last page with these pictures LOL – I have a lot of them!) – I used one of Erica’s gorgeous new kits, Not Too Shabby and a template by Cindy, Half Pack 45. I also tried to find a picture of my from my dancing days to include here – so far my mom hasn’t been able to find anything – but if she does, I’ll make sure to post it in the forums – I have one from my jazz class in the ’80’s that is classic 🙂
Thanks everyone for letting me show off my girls 🙂
