Good morning Sweet Shoppers! I can’t believe how quickly this summer has passed. I know lots of you are back to school (or will be soon). We have a couple of weeks left here and are starting to get ready now. We haven’t had the best summer here, it has rained more days than it hasn’t, so we haven’t been able to get out as much as I would have liked. The kids are bored indoors, so this week we decided to take them to the zoo, rain or no rain. So we drove 160km to Dublin for  a day out. We haven’t been there for a couple of years so it was all new for two very excited children! We were blessed with dry weather while in the zoo; the rain held off long enough so that we only got soaked through later! The kids had a blast. We were roared at by a tiger (which they thought was hilarious), saw “King Kong” and the “tick tock croc” (my four year old is obsessed with Peter Pan). I was even able to take their photos in “The Wishing Chair” – I have photos of myself as a child sitting in the same chair! Our trip to the zoo really was the highlight of this summer for us.
