Thursday Treats – Inspiring Quotes 4/16
I’ve been a voracious reader all my life, loving books and the written word. There is something about a well crafted phrase that you just have to keep looking at again and again.
In my scrapbooking zone, I adore a filler card with just the right quote to set the tone for the entire layout. Sometimes you don’t even need a title with the perfect quote!
Pinterest is my “go-to” spot to find quotes and to keep them for later. It might be just the quote itself or it might be a meme with a quote AND graphic that I include in my weekly project life layouts. I have a Quotes or Words Pinterest board of my own and I follow several of them so that they always show up in my feed. Serious or funny, G rated or … not, I hoard them for the perfect occasion.
It just so happens that this month one of the Bingo Challenges is to use a favorite quote on a layout. I found several layouts in the gallery participating in that challenge.
I have selected a word of the year for the past several years. I pin quotes for each word onto separate Pinterest boards as a way to keep my word present and be able to scrap with it all year long.
