Did you know that yesterday was “National Tell A Story” Day? As memory keepers we tell stories all the time, stories about ourselves, stories about our families, big stories about holidays or birthdays and little stories about funny things the kids said today. We talk about our work and school day on the way home in the car. We talk about the exciting moments of sporting events we watched or attended. We tell stories at bedtime, we read about national and local news and share those things around the dining room table at dinner. We tell “fish stories” regaling others with our prowess. But at the core of it all, we communicate with each other. And THAT is most important!
