Sugarbabe Sunday – 2/19

Welcome to this month’s Sugarbabe Sunday, where we let the team of Babes inspire us in our scrapping.  This month, I asked the Babes to show us some of the ways they focus on journaling in their layouts.  When I look around in galleries, I see a wide variety of journaling styles.  Some of us rarely include more than a title or date on our layouts.  And some of us rarely create a layout without some meaningful text included.  There are a lot of ways to express the feeling of a layout in words: titles, journal-style writing, writing focused on what is happening in the photos, lists, letters, quotes, word art, captions to photos, and so many more.  Take a look at some journal-focused layouts the Babes shared.

One of the things I struggle with when I want to include the most meaningful text in a layout is how to share that in a gallery.  There are a lot of times I just don’t want what I will include on my personal page on the world wide web.  So I thought it was interesting what Sugarbabe Heddy shared.  She said, “Here’s how I use “fake text” (the lorem ipsum text) on gallery pages so that I don’t share personal details but still show how the journalling is incorporated into the page design.”  Great idea!
