Scraplift Sunday – 4/2

It’s time for April’s Scraplift Sunday, and I am really excited about this month’s challenge.  It’s not a traditional scraplift challenge.  I’ve admired Sugarbabe Krista Lund’s pocket style for a long time.  Some things that stand out to me as I look through her gallery are the use of large photos and the way her clusters and titles don’t seem to quite stay in those “pockets”.  I love that she often embellishes the journal cards she uses.  It’s like her pages have a pocket background but she’s scrapping with the elements on top in a more traditional style.  And of course, her photography skills are amazing, so her photos just draw you right in!

So we are going to lift Krista this month!  And I’m challenging you to think outside the box on this one.  What kind of layout can you create that is inspired by Krista’s style?  Take a look at three layouts I’ve chosen that I think show off this style I’ve been talking about.

I won’t ask you to take this challenge and not join in too.  Here is my layout, followed by other Babe layouts, showing you different ways that we were inspired by Krista.kim ege4-22_Kebabe-jacinda prattley4-22_Jacindababe-tracy ducar4-22_Tracybabe-keely bostick4-22_Keelybabe-tronesia thomas4-22_Tronesiakim-b-jak4-22_jak2016-blog-layoutseparator-CarrieR4-22_Carriesherly4-22_Sherly

I hope you enjoy this month’s scraplift challenge!  And don’t forget that completing this challenge is one of the squares in our monthly Bingo challenges.  Here’s to a great month of scrapping memories!
