I asked Amber what inspired her to create Autumn Afternoon and her design process behind it. I also asked her what she thinks her strength as a designer is and what’s her “signature”…or what would others recognize her for. Here’s what she had to say…
What originally inspired me to create the featured kit was some colors I came across on Pinterest of a fall wedding. I just loved the bright golds & oranges with the rich teals. It was an afternoon wedding and I got to thinking about all of the fun things we do on Autumn afternoons! My process is almost always my themed or floral patterns/illustrations first and then I build from there.
I feel this is product a good representation as my “signature” look. I would say my biggest strength as a designer is versatility. I can go from shabby one week to playful the next. I enjoy exploring styles.
