Featured Designer 15 Peek – Libby Pritchett
Hello! We’re back to talk with our current Featured Designer, Libby Pritchett! We’re going to show her FWP kit, A Work in Progress, AND talk about a new sale that we’re going to do this upcoming Tuesday! Erica Zane and Libby Pritchett have teamed up once again to bring you a gorgeous new digital scrapbooking kit. Take a look. . . .
I love when Libby and Erica team up! This kit is absolutely perfect for scrapping life goals and improvements. I had to ask if Libby scrapbooks; here’s what she said:
I actually had to hesitate before answering this question! I started scrapbooking in January 1999 when my oldest daughter wasn’t even a year old. So, my gut instinct was to say, “Yes, of course I scrapbook!” But the truth is I haven’t done much scrapping at all over the last few years. I’m a homeschooling mom who is also very active in my church and community on top of my design work at SSD, so I just don’t have much time for scrapping these days. Instead, for now, I keep a private blog where I record little snippets of our daily life and have them printed into a book once a year or so. It isn’t ideal, and I do feel a deep longing when I look back on my old books. But it’s a season of life, and I’m thankful that I’m still getting the memories written down!
Another question I had to ask was if there were any layouts that jumped out at her from her Designer Inspiration gallery lately? If so, share a page or two and the scrapper with us!
This layout by tonyasmith stands out to me in a way that you might not expect. Many of you may not know that Tonya was a Sweet Shoppe customer who recently passed away. Her gallery is filled with page after page of beautiful layouts full of memories that her children will cherish forever. As I look at this page, highlighting a normal moment of her daughter doing homework, I’m reminded that THESE are the memories we want to keep. Sure, birthdays, holidays, and vacations are important, too, but it’s these normal little moments that mean the most.
Finally, for a little fun, what are the top 5 things that you use to stay cozy and warm in the winter?
- COFFEE!!
- Fuzzy socks
- Flannel PJ pants
- A very toasty thermostat setting
- Snuggles with my husband
Now that we’ve gotten to know Libby a little better, I get to show off her products that will be on sale next Tuesday!
