Happy Friday friends! It’s a new day and we’re debuting a new Featured Designer, Willemijne of Digital Scrapbook Ingredients who has a wonderful kit for us! Go Explore is a kit all about having adventures and exploring the great outdoors. There are a lot of gorgeous woodgrain elements in this kit along with fun word art and an adorable bear element. I asked Willemijne what inspired her to create Go Explore and what her design process was. I also asked her what she thinks her strength as a designer is and what she would consider her “signature” . . . or what others would recognize her for. Here’s what she had to say . . .
I love traveling, and the great outdoors, and exploring new places! I was very eager to make my first travel/outdoors kit of the year and thought it would be great for my Featured Designer kit! I usually come up with a theme first and then start looking for colors that match the feel I envision for the kit. Then I make a list of things I’d like to include and start designing!
I’d like to say one of my strengths is my versatility. There’s so many things I love to design and I love doing themed kits! And I think my hand-drawn illustrations as well.
