Featured Designer 15 Peek – Meagan Tuck
Hello! We’re back to talk with our current Featured Designer, Meagan Tuck of Meagan’s Creations! We’re going to show her FWP kit, Still the One, AND talk about a new sale that we’re going to do this upcoming Tuesday! Still The One is a digital scrapbook kit by Meagan’s Creations. This kit is so gorgeous and elegant. I’ve already seen some amazing layouts using Still the One, and I think the possibilities are endless and bound to be beautiful ! I had to ask if Meagan scrapbooks; here’s what she said:
I really do try to scrapbook but it doesn’t happen as often as I would like. It’s a great way to track and record my kids’ lives and I guess right now I’m so in the thick of it that I’m just trying to live in the moment and not worry so much about recording it. Here are a couple of pages I’ve done in the last few months though. First is Slime Time, which I loved doing because the kit theme was inspired by my kids’ love of slime! I have a hate-hate relationship with the stuff, but my kids love it, and it was fun to scrap them showing off their creations. My second layout is my son’s first trip to the zoo. It was fun to really play with this template with so many leaves and tropical elements. I think right now, I’d have to go back through my Facebook feed to get the story behind most of the photos of my life but I also keep a digital journal that I type in once a month or so. It’s definitely an area I could do better in!
Another question I had to ask was if there were any layouts that jumped out at her from her Designer Inspiration gallery lately. And if so, to share a page or two and the scrapper with us!
I love this layout “First Day” by shaynesgirl using Middle School. Her clusters are awesome with great drop shadows and I love her journaling along the left-side!
I also really love “James with His IPAD” by joanne4211. The stitching is fabulous- I love blocking layouts and the little elements in all of the squares are so fun!
Finally, for a little fun . . . what are the top 5 things you love about fall?
- Pumpkin everything! I’m not a spice latte gal, but my family loves my pumpkin roll, and I love pumpkin cheesecake! Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies or bread, so yummy!!
- I like getting a bit of reprieve from the heat! I live in Houston, TX so it doesn’t get REALLY cool here during the fall, at least not for a few more months but it’s so much better than the 90 degree+ heat we deal with in August!
- I love getting excited for all of the fun holidays coming up! Halloween is super fun for my kids and I to dress up, Thanksgiving means yummy food, and I really do love doing Christmas shopping for others!
- I love it when my kids go back to school!!
- And I love that it becomes socially acceptable to start wearing boots! I love my little ankle boots and can’t wait to sport them!
Now that we’ve gotten to know Meagan a little better, I get to show off her products that will be on sale next Tuesday! I’ll show them all to you today and then you’ll have a few days to get them into your cart and have it all ready for Tuesday. Are you excited?! It’s a lot to take in so scroll slowly. ?
