It is with great pleasure that we announce for the first time since Spring 2012, Sweet Shoppe Designs is having an open call to search for exceptionally talented digital scrapbook designers to join our oh-so-sweet and slightly crazy family! We are looking for both rising newcomers and experienced artists who will bring their individual design sense and unique style to the shoppe and our amazing and loyal customer base week after week.

Prospective applicants MUST be ready to commit to Sweet Shoppe Designs exclusively if invited to join our team. You must be able to create product on a near weekly basis. Staying at the forefront of our customer’s sights each week through the consistent release of new products is key to being a successful member of our team. You MUST be a team player who is willing to work on group projects frequently as Sweet Shoppe Designs produces a number of collaborative kits and other promotional products as a team throughout the year. You must be willing and able to stay in touch with the entire team of designers in our staff forums on a daily basis. Open communication and a sense of family is a HUGE part of what makes SSD one of the best places in the industry to work.

Ultimately, we are looking for designers who want to make Sweet Shoppe Designs their home for the long run and who take their work seriously as a profession, not a hobby. As Sweet Shoppe Designs is a digital scrapbook boutique for scrappers, not designers, we are not looking for commercial use designers at this time.

• Your name & a little bit about yourself including your design & store history.
• The reason you want to join our team of designers and what you think you have to offer SSD.
• A link to a downloadable sample of your work which includes several papers, elements and alphabets from a variety of kits or a sampling of other products which represent your specialty.
• Three of your products repackaged in our preview format (click to download our full kit or element preview templates) saved as 700x700px images and submitted as links NOT attachments.
• A link to the store where your designs are currently for sale.
• A link to your creative team gallery so we can see your designs in action.
• Your average monthly income as a digital designer along with a description of what your financial goals are. This information will not be shared with our team, it is for administrative reference only to ensure that a move from your current store would be beneficial to all parties involved.
• A brief description of your marketing routine and what you currently do to get exposure for your designs.
• Any additional information you’d like us to consider as we review your application to join our team including blog links, etc.

Applications MUST BE received no later than midnight on June 8th, 2014.

All applications will be reviewed confidentially by our team of designers as they are submitted. Designers will be contacted upon receipt of their application and again once a decision has been made. Due to the important nature of this decision, we cannot guarantee when invitations will be sent. However we are aiming to make our final decisions no later than June 21st, 2014.
