<\/p>\nWelcome to this week\u2019s Spin-A-Lift, where we\u2019ll be looking at an amazing layout and then putting our own twist on it. This week we\u2019re going to be spinning a layout by the fabulous Robin Carlton!<\/p>\n
On top of being an amazing designer and \u2018boss\u2019 here at Sweet Shoppe Designs, Robin is also a very talented scrapbooker. She has a distinctive style, combining great photography and fun colours to create some amazing pages \u2013 some of which we have seen in a variety of magazines!<\/p>\n
After spending ages in Robin\u2019s wonderful gallery, I chose Shine Bright. I love this one for so many reasons. She chose such great colours to accent that gorgeous picture of her son and this layout is so perfectly balanced. There are just enough elements to provide interest and leave the layout feeling uncluttered. The splotches of ink are the perfect touch of grunge to make this a great boy page!<\/p>\n

I flipped her design 90 degrees in my layout and used Eve Recinella\u2019s funky Metropolitan papers<\/a>, I also used her Crumpled Alpha\u2019s<\/a>. I went looking to Lauren Grier for my elements and got them from her I Heart You<\/a>, Flutterflies<\/a>, and It\u2019s All About You<\/a> sets.<\/p>\n We\u2019d all love to see your take on this week\u2019s Spin-A-Lift, so why don\u2019t you take a meander through Robin\u2019s fabulous gallery<\/a> and give one of her layouts a spin.
