\"\"Hello Sweet Shoppers!Stephanie bringing you today’s post. \u00a0 Today marks a very momentous occasion at the Czosnek Household. The little one has reached the age of 5! Yes, my Evelyn is now 5. Five delightful and rambunctious and inquisitive years old.<\/p>\n

I remember in my own life that 5 was such a milestone. There is something about holding up that entire hand with all 5 fingers strongly extended. There is something about the number and saying it. Five. FIVE! It’s such a bold number.<\/p>\n

Our morning was not lacking adventure. Presents left for the birthday girl. Our elf, Henry did not move over night (it was Daddy’s day to move him) and the cats knocked over our newly decorated tree. So an hour into out Sunday morning – we finally got to open the presents and shower the Birthday girls with hugs and kisses. New Barbies litter the floor and the girls are playing with the Barbie swimming pool in the bathroom.\u00a0 But you know what – the start of this day encompasses what Evelyn has has brought to the family.<\/p>\n

Evelyn arrived into this world at her own pace – FAST and like a tornado. She wrecked the plans that we were to have with our oldest daughter as a family of 3 one last time by breaking my water while I was getting ready for the day. She was uncooperative during child birth and when she was here she announced her arrival LOUDLY. Evelyn weighed in at 9 pounds 6 ounces and was 22 inches long. Oh and she arrived when my epidural failed as well.<\/p>\n

I always heard the phrase – “Marches to the beat of her own drum” and have found that one person that this phrase relates to. Evelyn is her own being. She is funny, she asks a lot of pointed questions. She is like sunshine and rainbows on a cloudy day, but can bring thunder and lightning when she is in a bad mood.\u00a0 She tends to be extreme. She loves all things pink, purple and sparkly. She is girly yet loves to go hunting with her papa. She loves Michael Jackson.<\/p>\n

So today she’ll be hanging out with her Grandparents helping them decorate the house. We’ll be dining at a restaurant tonight of her choosing (place TBD cause the girl is a foodie and is having troubles deciding) and we’ll be baking cookies tonight for her to bring to class tomorrow.<\/p>\n
