Hello everyone, it is Susan here today and I had planned to talk about my favorite most watchable movies of all time.\u00a0 I see that Misty talked about books yesterday, so I hope you don\u2019t mind moving on to another form of media\/entertainment.<\/p>\n

My husband and I often talk about the most watchable movies.\u00a0 You know\u2026.the movies that are in heavy rotation on TBS or ABC Family\u2026that even though you have seen them a million times, you always are able to stop what you are doing and watch them again and again.\u00a0 You can even pick them up in the middle and still be unable to change the channel.\u00a0 Not all movies are \u201cwatchable\u201d.\u00a0 There are great movies that I really only want or need to see once.\u00a0 So what are my favorite, \u201cmost watchable\u201d movies?\u00a0 Here is my list:<\/p>\n

When Harry Met Sally<\/strong> \u2013 One of the funniest romantic comedies of all time.\u00a0 After all these years, it still holds up.\u00a0 There are so many funny lines in this movie and so many sweet moments. And I love the way Sally orders her food<\/a>.\u00a0 She just wants it the way she wants it!<\/p>\n

Father of the Bride<\/strong> \u2013 Steve Martin is one of my secret crushes.\u00a0 I love him in this one and Roxanne (another very watchable movie, by the way).\u00a0 He is so funny in this and I love ever moment that he and Martin Short share the screen.\u00a0 I also love his epic meltdown over hotdog buns.<\/a><\/p>\n

Four Weddings and a Funeral<\/strong> \u2013 Yes, it is a little cheesy in some parts<\/a>\u2026.and I am so over Hugh Grant, but I really do love this movie.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ve Got Mail<\/strong> \u2013 This is one is a little dated.\u00a0 I mean, AOL?\u00a0 But I can\u2019t help myself, every time I see this on, I have to stop and watch.\u00a0 Maybe it is all the scenes of NY in the fall.\u00a0 Maybe it is that awesome combo of Ryan and Hanks<\/a>.\u00a0 F-O-X.<\/p>\n

The Shawshank Redemption<\/strong> \u2013 Does this one even need an explanation?\u00a0 Such a wonderful story of overcoming an impossible situation, friendship, and comeuppance.\u00a0 Oh and of course, Redemption<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jerry Maguire<\/strong> \u2013 You Complete Me<\/a>.\u00a0 Why do I tear up every time I see that scene?\u00a0 It seems as though in that scene, he is also doing the sign language signs for You Complete Me, but you can\u2019t see it.\u00a0 So touching.\u00a0 I love watching how Jerry is so totally transformed from beginning to end\u2026.all because of a moment of clarity and a Mission Statement.<\/p>\n

Groundhog Day<\/strong> \u2013 Seriously, one of the funniest and yet most touching movies ever written.\u00a0 I love watching Phil journey through all of the most base human emotions (shock, confusion, anger<\/a>, resentment, greed, and finally altruism, acceptance<\/a> and love).\u00a0 Love love love this movie.<\/p>\n

Ocean\u2019s Eleven<\/strong> \u2013 George Clooney, Brad Pitt<\/a>, Matt Damon, nuff said.<\/p>\n

Bourne Identity<\/strong> \u2013 Matt Damon in a James Bond-ish role?\u00a0 Who knew<\/a>?\u00a0 Of course, this movie is better than any James Bond movie ever was.\u00a0 I can come into this movie at anytime and be totally engrossed.\u00a0 Maybe it is because it was shot mostly in Paris (my favorite city).\u00a0 Maybe it is because Matt Damon is mega hot in this movie\u2026..I don\u2019t care\u2026.I just love it.<\/p>\n

Speed<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 Is this the best that Keanu Reeves has ever looked?\u00a0 Hunky, buff, and hot hot hot.\u00a0 The chemistry between him and Sandra Bullock is terrific.\u00a0 The story is pretty gripping as well.\u00a0 As they are speeding towards the break in the highway, I always wonder, are they going to make it????<\/p>\n

So those are some of my favorites.\u00a0 This list is by no means comprehensive.\u00a0 There are dozens of others that could have easily made this list.\u00a0 I just don\u2019t have enough space here to list them all.\u00a0 I\u2019d love to hear what you guys think.\u00a0 Which ones did I miss?\u00a0 What are your favorite, most watchable flicks?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
