Libby here to share with you one of my favorite go-to recipes for snacks or even a quick and easy lunch… Hummus!<\/p>\n
I’ll admit that I’d never tried hummus before I married Jeff, and being the picky eater that I am, I was SURE I wouldn’t like it.\u00a0 Well, I can now admit that I was wrong!\u00a0 We bought store-bought hummus for a while, and while I liked it well enough, I didn’t LOVE it.\u00a0 Then, I got Jeff a Magic Bullet for Christmas (which, btw, we love!), and he played around until he came up with what we think is the perfect hummus recipe.\u00a0 We love to eat this as a dip with tortilla chips, pita bread, or veggies, but my absolute favorite way to eat it is in a wrap for lunch!\u00a0 I just spread some hummus on a flour tortilla, layer a piece of provolone cheese in there, and microwave for about 30 seconds.\u00a0 Perfect for days when we are on the go or I’m busy with the baby.\u00a0 I could seriously eat this every single day.<\/p>\n

Jeff’s Hummus<\/strong><\/p>\n 1 15oz can (with juices) of Garbanzo Beans (Chick Peas) Simply heat the Garbanzo beans and remove 1\/4 cup of the juice (we’ve found it’s a little too runny with all the juice left in – feel free to modify this to your tastes).\u00a0 Then mix the beans with the remaining juices along with the other ingredients in a blender (or Magic Bullet) until smooth.\u00a0 That’s all there is to it!<\/p>\n Enjoy!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hi Sweeties!
