I decided to take a fun spin on the Get to know me video’s <\/a> in the Forum.
\nMy intentions were real, I swear. I was going to post the video after recording it like 5x’s. LOL
\nI decided eghhhh it’s not going to happen so I’ll ask myself some of the questions asked and post here for you all. \ud83d\ude09

What did I do before I was a SAHM?
\nI worked as an Admin. Asst in a Community Health Center and was laid off in 8.10.
\nI am planning on going back to work maybe around Winter time we’ll see how that goes. <\/p>\n

What neighborhood did I grow up in and what made it special?
\nI grew up in Okeechobee Fl it was known as Dewberry Gardens. It’s always going to be a special place for me. I was always surrounded by family and lots of friends. Everyone knew everyone kinda thing. I have the greatest memories of going to both of my grandma’s houses and having two very different experiences with each of them. It was always about family and helping each other out.<\/p>\n

What neighborhood do I live in now and why do I love it?
\nI currently live in a small town within a town in CT. I love it because it’s small and very country. I have corn growing in the lot right behind our house and across the other way. We also have lots of tobacco, pumpkin, tree and other farms within walking distance. I love driving around and seeing all of this growth. I don’t interact alot with my neighbors but I know If I need help with something I can knock on their door.<\/p>\n

Do I watch Reality TV?
\nLOL sadly yes I do I love the Housewives of New Jersey, Big Rich Texas & Jerseylicious. Those are the only one’s I watch they actually make me laugh and think wow I guess we can all be a bit CRAZY!! Not all of you, you but people I know.<\/p>\n

Do I eat alot of cookies?
\nYes I do and that’s probably why I can’t lose the weight that I want to. lol<\/p>\n

How long have I been scrapbooking?
\nI started after I had Cely who is now 8. I started in paper and stumbled on digi a little later and once I discovered it I thought wow this is so much easier and so much less messier. I was hooked and have come such a long way since then.<\/p>\n

My favorite thing about SSD.
\nI know it’s been said but I’ll say it again because I absolutely mean it. I love the designers here they absolutely rock those creative juices and give me so much to work with. I wish I could work with all of it all the time but then I wouldn’t leave the couch that I sit on, lol.
\nThe forum here is also a great go to place for a laugh, real thoughts, and great advice my other favorite thing about the Sweet Shoppe.<\/p>\n

Here are some quickies, I am a night person. PC b\/c it’s cheaper. Canon have 3 of em but prefer Olympus for a point & shoot.
\nMy favorite color:purple. Coffee and Tea at home def I’ll make the coffee and out and about the $1 sweet tea at my fav. spots!<\/p>\n

My happiest moment is the birth of all of my six children you can never get that feeling of warmth just gush out of you back or out of my memories and hearing that baby that is yours cry or scream, memorable.<\/p>\n

My saddest moment in my life is the death of my 17yr old daughter in 2010 as a parent I lost hope, faith and always question myself. I live with so many regrets it’s an ultimate sadness that’s hard to recover from. Love those babies hard and with the thought of tomorrow is never guaranteed.<\/p>\n

One thing people don’t know about me. hmmmm ok I’ll share I have psoriasis<\/a>. It’s dry flaky patches on your skin and it’s mostly on my scalp and little patches on my elbows.
