Hello friends!! Today I’m going to talk about something that’s going on with our family. We have a very close family. We live on the same block as my in-laws. I never thought that would happen, but honestly it is awesome. They really respect our space and our girls have a set of grandparents within a stone’s throw to our house. My husband’s youngest brother and his wife live right across town (roughly 10 blocks away). Nate’s middle brother and his family live less than 10 minutes from us. Well, until this coming weekend. Back in April my brother in-law and his wife decided they wanted to move. He’s a chiropractor and there seems to be a huge amount of chiropractors in the area since there’s a big college of chiropractics about an hour from us. They had occasionally talked about moving but we never thought they would, and we definitely didn’t think it would be to Maine (we’re in Illinois). We will miss them terribly. It will be so sad not seeing my niece and nephews on a regular basis. It will be especially hard for my girls not to see their cousins on a weekly basis. My youngest nephew Eli is one and is changing everyday. My nephew Dalton is 5 and he and Claire (my 3 year old) are super close. They love making eachother laugh and they usually always have a blast together. And then there’s my niece, Calista, and Libby. Calista was four and a half when Libby was born. They have always had such a special relationship and have become best friends over the years. They love playing together, having sleepovers and going shopping. They went to the same daycare \u00a0for a little while before we had Claire and I got to stay home. They’ve spent every birthday and holiday together. It’s so hard to see the hurt in my sweet seven year old’s face when she realizes all that she will be losing when Calista moves.
