Our anniversary is tomorrow. \u00a0Every year it kinda strikes me like a slap in the face. \u00a0How is it possible I have been married to this man for NINE years? \u00a0Me. \u00a0The girl who didn’t want to be tied down to any one person, the girl who didn’t want to be a stay at home mom, the girl who wasn’t even sure she wanted kids…how is it I’ve become this person? \u00a0All that being said, I wouldn’t have it any other way. \u00a0My husband and I aren’t your typical couple. \u00a0We aren’t into all that lovey-dovey stuff. \u00a0Sure, we DO love each other, and we hold hands, and we kiss each other goodbye, but, we don’t sleep all cuddled up, we don’t just randomly do romantic things, and well, we make fun of each other more often than not. \u00a0We don’t fight (often), and well, we compliment each other in the most perfect way. \u00a0He is the complete opposite of me in so many ways and I think that that’s what makes us so perfect.<\/p>\n

Anywho, all of this reflecting got me wondering, what do you do for your anniversary to make the day special? \u00a0We aren’t doing anything special tonight because it’s a weeknight and between the kids having school in the morning and DH and I both having to get up, we just aren’t going to make a big to do. \u00a0He is going hunting this weekend (happy anniversary to ME) and well, the girls and I will probably be lazy. \u00a0So…what do you do?<\/p>\n
