Today I am thankful for… hmmm, let’s see if you can guess. It’s brown, it’s hot, it wakes me up (no it’s not a dog), it smells good (see), it’s especially nice on a cold morning, it goes in a mug… If you haven’t guessed it yet, I’m talking about coffee!<\/p>\n

Coffee is the way I start my morning. Each and every morning, it greets me warmly and perks me up. I can remember the days when I didn’t like\/need coffee… pre-college days when I had this natural teenage energy and my taste buds weren’t a fan of the bitterness. That all changed in my freshman year of college. I finally got a taste of truly TIRED. There was a sweet Italian man who would set up a coffee & espresso cart in the main breezeway of the university. Every day on my way to class I would pass it and notice the enticing smell of roasted beans and the huge looong line of students waiting for their cup. One day, I finally did it. I ordered my first mocha latte. Never looked back!!!<\/div>\n

To me, coffee is so much more than this addicting liquid substance that I need to drink everyday in order to function. It’s an experience! It’s a cup of feel-good. It’s a reason to gather with friends and chat. It’s a treat in the middle of the day. It wakes up the senses… it makes life more enjoyable.<\/p>\n

I know I’m not the only one thankful for coffee. I’ve seen everyone’s morning cup of Joe on Instagram. It’s important enough that we feel compelled to photograph it!! I’ve also heard many mentions of coffee on Facebook. I’m not the only one who loves her coffee and needs it daily, can I get an amen?<\/p>\n
