Hey everyone!\u00a0 This is my first time on the blog and I am so excited that I get to share a little about myself and my Sugarbabe experience.\u00a0 I guess it all started back in April when I saw the call go out for new babes.\u00a0 I knew it would be a long shot as each one of the Sweet Shoppe designers have HUGE followings and who wouldn’t want to work with them all!!!\u00a0 But I applied, and I have to admit\u00a0that I checked my email\u00a0continuously when the call came to a close.\u00a0 I also checked the Sweet Shoppe Forums to see if the BIG NEWS would be released there.\u00a0 Well finally I saw Robin post that they had chosen 4 people instead of 3, and that 3 of them had applied before. \u00a0It was my first time applying so\u00a0I thought…it’s definitely not me…I’ll try again next time.\u00a0 Then I get an email from Robin…..and it was an invite!!!\u00a0 I was soooo excited and still am!\u00a0 I can not express enough how much fun it is to work with everyone here!\u00a0 This has been a dream gig.\u00a0 Everyone is so supportive!\u00a0\u00a0We truly have an amazing staff here at Sweet Shoppe Designs and I am proud to wear my Sugarbabe blinkie.\u00a0 If you ever get the chance to apply for a babe position don’t even think twice about it.<\/p>\n

Ok so now onto more of myself.\u00a0 Well, I am a\u00a0stay at home mom of two girls (Lauren and Cheyanne) and wife to Mike for 4 years.\u00a0\u00a0I stumbled across digi-scrapping after I\u00a0bought Autumn Leaves Designing with Digital book.\u00a0\u00a0I tried the paper\u00a0route and have to admit I have a HUGE stash of paper supplies that sit untouched.\u00a0 I am saving them because I think eventually I might get good enough to attempt Hybrid.\u00a0\u00a0What inspires me most are my two\u00a0girls.\u00a0 I usually start off scrapping with a picture and then figure out everything from there.\u00a0 But sometimes it’s fun to just throw things on a page and add the photos last.\u00a0 My style is definitely eclectic.\u00a0 Sometimes I like to keep it simple and sometimes my pages are buried with elements.\u00a0 In any case….I absolutely love scrapping, it is my artistic outlet, my legacy to leave my children and my stress reliever.<\/p>\n

So I know you have all seen the wonderful things that go into the shop weekly.\u00a0 Aren’t you totally amazed by the designers here….I am!!\u00a0 I love the Sweet Rewards<\/a>\u00a0for all the awesome Sweet Shoppe Challenges<\/a>\u00a0.\u00a0 The challenges really help me scrap so many themes I never thought of.\u00a0 Lately the new Pop Rocks<\/a>\u00a0challenge is really inspiring me.\u00a0 This weeks challenge was to scrap your childs favorite TV show.\u00a0 Well my girls love Dora the Explorer so that’s what I chose to scrap about.\u00a0 Here’s my page using Miriam Lima and Gina Miller’s collab kit Dreamer<\/a>, and Fee Jardine’s Fizz Tizz Potpourri<\/a>.<\/p>\n
