These are four new favorites in our house from the last year. Clockwise: 1. Strawberry Cream Cake (it takes FOREVER to make but it is totally worth it!). 2. Tomato Basil Cheddar Soup. 3. Chicken Enchilada Soup. 4. Red Velvet cake-in-a-jar.<\/p>\n

Four countries I have given birth in (clockwise): INDIA:<\/strong> In January 2003, I had my first daughter in the city of Bangalore. She was the first while baby ever born in the hospital so the president came to visit our room with his assistants. They brought us a cake and a silver spoon! MALAYSIA:<\/strong> My son Levi was born in Penang, Malaysia in April 2006. \u00a0AMERICA:<\/strong> Three of my six babies were born in the US. My son Caleb was born in May 2004 in Colorado Springs. My daughter Katie was born in Orlando in March 2008. My son Zachary was born in Burlington, North Carolina in March 2013. All of my US births had their pros and cons…just like any other place!\u00a0INDONESIA: <\/strong>My daughter Bethany was born in Bandung, Indonesia (where we currently live) in March 2011. People always ask which place was the best experience and I can never really give them an answer. All of my births had things that I loved and things that I hated. But in the end, it doesn’t matter. I have six beautiful children!<\/p>\n

I really can’t imagine living without my camera, my Kindle, my computer, or my kids! I would say my husband too, but his name starts with a “J” and ruins the nice “C” sound I have going on \ud83d\ude42 \u00a0Seriously, these four things pretty much ARE my day. I shoot with a Canon 7D (and I shoot over 10,000 pictures a year), I read constantly on my Kindle (have read almost 40 books in the last year, with maybe ONE being fiction), I use my iMac for everything, and those six beauties? Well, I homeschool them and we have a great time just being together. It’s crazy, loud, and a lot of work, but I love it!<\/p>\n
