Another Featured Designer Friday is here Sweet Shoppers, and this week we\u2019re bringing you part two of Zoe Pearn\u2019s gorgeous and inspiring 4 in \u201914 spotlight which is going to give you a taste of some of her favorite layouts both paper and digital, a peek at her home down under and MORE! Yup, that\u2019s me\u2026 I\u2019m not one to take lots of selfies, and these are all from 2014… \u00a0I\u2019ve been blonde most of my life, but I made the change to being a brunette in the last year, so I\u2019m still getting used to it!<\/p>\n

A couple of years ago, my husband and I decided that we were sick of city life in our hometown of Brisbane, so we made a sea-change and moved 6 hours away from home! \u00a0We now live about 2 minutes from these beautiful beaches on the New South Wales Mid-North Coast, Australia. The beaches here are still so natural – no high rise apartments here, and the water is the most beautiful shade of aqua blue I have ever seen. Plus the weather is gorgeous all year round. \u00a0It\u2019s been hard to move away from all of our family at home, but we love where we live now, and it\u2019s a fantastic place for the kids to grow up!<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been trying to make an effort to scrap more over the last year, even if pages are few and far between! \u00a0 I usually will scrap with my own products, because generally I have a photo in mind for a kit when I start out designing it. \u00a0These are a few of my favourite recent pages!<\/p>\n

I also love to get off the computer and paper scrap too! \u00a0 I\u2019ve been on a \u201cstash-busting\u201d mission over the last year to use up some of the products that I have bought but never got around to using. \u00a0It\u2019s still tempting to buy new paper supplies, but I find that I can still make nice pages with stuff that I bought a couple of years ago too, not just the latest and greatest! \u00a0I go to a scrapbooking retreat twice a year with some friends, so I get to indulge in some scrap therapy shopping at those at least LOL!<\/p>\n

These are a few of my favourite kits from 2014!<\/p>\n

Free Spirit<\/a>: I am a sucker for gold in just about EVERYTHING these days, and I love the classic girly colours in this one!<\/p>\n

Make It Count<\/a>: The colours in this kit are so pretty, and the florals are my all-time favourite!<\/p>\n

Memorable: Carnival<\/a>: \u00a0I absolutely adore Kristin Cronin-Barrow, as both a friend and to work with. \u00a0We \u201ctalk\u201d almost every day, and we just seem to mesh really well with our collabs. \u00a0Our ongoing collection, Memorable, has been so much fun to work on in 2014, and this Carnival one would have to be my absolute favourite of them all\u2026 So fun!!<\/p>\n

On The Road Again<\/a>: \u00a0This kit was a bit different to my usual, but it turned out to be one of my favourites – the theme was fun, and my family had just been on a road trip to see some snow, so it was easy to design because I knew what photos I wanted to scrap with it!<\/p>\n
