Hi! I’m so excited to be doing my first blog post as a SugarBabe! For this week’s Taste Test Thursday, I’ve decided to highlight one of the newer challenges to the Sweet Shoppe. If you haven’t checked out the Paper 2 Digi Challenge<\/a> yet, you should! I had a lot of fun with this week’s challenge. The Paper 2 Digi Challenge is held every 2 weeks and will be hosted by either SugarBabe Jenny or Darla. With each challenge they will be highlighting one paper scrapper’s fabulous gallery and your are free to choose what layout from the gallery you would like to lift. Since I am new here and I am just getting familiar with some of the newer challenges as well, I thought I would just give a quick run down of the points system for this challenge:<\/p>\n

If you do the challenge and post your link on the forum under the challenge category you get 1 point<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you do the challenge, post on the forum , and you do a HYBRID (combine digi and paper techniques), you get 2 points<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you do the challenge, post on the forum, do a hybrid layout AND use Sweet Shoppe goodies it’s 3 points<\/strong> (to get the extra point for using Sweet Shoppe goodies, you must use products that were released the Saturday before you upload your layout)<\/p>\n

AND<\/strong>…….just by linking your layout here for the challenge we are highlighting on Thursdays…….you get 1 Extra Point<\/strong> in addition to your other points……SO EASY!<\/p>\n

So, I thought I would highlight just a few of the layouts that were done for the Paper 2 Digi Challenge #1<\/a>. This week’s paper gallery that was chosen is mommy2tate<\/a>. You have to go check it out, it is an amazing gallery and I had a difficult time narrowing down my choice for the lift!
\nThis one is by SugarBabe Jenny (who is the hostess for this challenge#1). She chose to lift moomy2tate’s “RockStar<\/a>“. I love all the doodled accents in this layout!

Here is Jenny’s take on it, “You Crack Us Up<\/a>“…..so adorable, I just love that last photo!
\n\"\"
\nThe next one is by SugarBabe Laurie. She lifted this gorgeous layout “My Music Now<\/a>”<\/p>\n

Here is Laurie’s layout “Happy Birthday to Me<\/a>” I love how she chose to angle the one photo with the polaroid frame!
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Here is one that I thought was so cute, created by one of the Sweet Shoppe Members Jenny (lilcameronsmommy). She lifted the layout “Can I Go<\/a>“…..all those paper rings down the middle look amazing and I love how she highlighted the words in the journalling:<\/p>\n

Here is Jenny’s layout “Big Grandma”……I think the photo is absolutely adorable and the colors compliment the photo so nicely. She used Robin Carlton’s kit “Lil Ladybugs” available in the new quartery assortment HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And finally, I chose to lift mommy2tate’s amazing layout “Look at Me<\/a>“. How in the world she did those circular paper tears is beyond me, but what a great effect it has on the final layout:<\/p>\n
