I’m so excited to share this week’s Featured Scrapper – Kjersti<\/a> with you all! Kjersti has an AMAZING gallery full of gorgeous photos and fantastic design. She has a wonderful talent for layering and a great eye for color.<\/p>\n

Here’s a little more about Kjersti:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>My name is Kjersti Woods and I’m from San Francisco Bay Area in California. I’m a stay at home mom to two girls Elyse (age 9) and Faith (age 5). I’ve been a longtime lurker here at the Sweet Shoppe but finally got the courage to upload my first layout in July 2009. I use CS4 to create my layouts and I usually work late at night after my girls are in bed. By my laptop is usually a 44 ounce Diet Pepsi, Peanut M&M’s, and Salt & Vinegar Potato Chips.<\/p>\n

1. <\/strong>What is the most challenging part of scrapping for you?<\/strong>
\nI’m the most unorganized person in the world! I have hard drives and hard drives of photos and kits and can never find what I’m looking for! I’m also a very slow scrapper. One layout can take me about a week to finish!!<\/p>\n

2. What do you do in real life?<\/strong>
\nMost days I can be found volunteering at my daughter’s school. This year I’m on the yearbook committe so I’m at all the events taking photos!<\/p>\n

3. If you could only use 2 elements what would they be?<\/strong>
\nI am in love with flowers and ribbons! I think they are on every layout I create. I couldn’t live without them.<\/p>\n

4. What is your favorite color scheme to work with?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I usually look at the elements, pick out which flowers, ribbons, and buttons I like the best and then pick my background papers last! I stick to blues, purples, and pinks.<\/p>\n

On the little plate that my girls are holding is a piece of Godiva Cheesecake. They wouldn’t keep their fingers out of it. I was cracking up and yelling at them to be still at the same time. Cloud 9 is one of my favorite kits by KCB – I can’t get enough of those darling hearts.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

Journaling is so hard for me. My degree is in Finance and I’m really good in math but my writing stinks! It took me three days to journal my thoughts about my girls -but I did it!<\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

Right after I snapped these photographs of my daughter Faith she pulled her dress over her head and had a tantrum right on our driveway! I still giggle when I look at these photos! I love the kit Snowy Sweetness by KCB. The flowers, ribbons, papers, buttons, and snowflakes are gorgeous.<\/em><\/p>\n
