{"id":3939,"date":"2010-05-26T01:00:50","date_gmt":"2010-05-26T05:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sweetshoppedesigns.com\/?p=3939"},"modified":"2011-12-14T18:25:25","modified_gmt":"2011-12-14T23:25:25","slug":"hot-4-hybrid-wednesday-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sweetshoppedesigns.com\/index.php\/2010\/05\/hot-4-hybrid-wednesday-8\/","title":{"rendered":"Hot 4 Hybrid Wednesday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Hello!\u00a0 Sara here with this weeks hybrid post.<\/p>\n<p>I have a sweet project to share with you today, which requires very little equipment and can be made to suit any particular person, decor or even what mood you are in if you like!\u00a0 A home-made mobile:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetshoppedesigns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/rainbow-mobile-photo_600.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3951\" title=\"Rainbow Mobile\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sweetshoppedesigns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/rainbow-mobile-photo_600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"265\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sweetshoppedesigns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/rainbow-mobile-photo_600.jpg 265w, https:\/\/www.sweetshoppedesigns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/rainbow-mobile-photo_600-133x300.jpg 133w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 265px) 100vw, 265px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>My mobile\u00a0was made using <a title=\"Honey Bunny by Dani Mogstad available from Sweet Shoppe Designs\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetshoppedesigns.com\/sweetshoppe\/product.php?productid=20025&amp;cat=0&amp;page=1\" target=\"_blank\">Honey Bunny <\/a>by Dani Mogstad, and it measures\u00a0about 11in\u00a0 in length, though I could have simply added more flowers to make it longer if I wanted to.\u00a0\u00a0 Take a closer look:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetshoppedesigns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/rainbow-mobile-details_600.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3953\" title=\"Rainbow Mobile-details\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sweetshoppedesigns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/rainbow-mobile-details_600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sweetshoppedesigns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/rainbow-mobile-details_600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.sweetshoppedesigns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/rainbow-mobile-details_600-300x150.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It is made from a double thickness of card: I\u00a0duplicated\u00a0each image on to two separate pieces of thin card, cut them all out\u00a0and sandwiched them together with some adhesive.\u00a0I think this double thickness of card adds a little durability and weight\u00a0to the mobile, and I will also be able to see the images on both sides of the mobile when it moves in a breeze.<\/p>\n<p>When the glue was dry, I arranged my mobile pieces\u00a0on my work table\u00a0in the design\u00a0I planned for them to hang in.\u00a0 Then I used my hole prick (which is little more than a very strong, sharp needle) to make small holes in the top of each, through which I would thread my floss\/ thread.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello!\u00a0 Sara here with this weeks hybrid post.
