Hello!\u00a0Sara here, with this weeks H4H post.\u00a0 This Sunday seems to be Father’s Day<\/strong> in lots of countries around the world, so I thought I’d share a few quick ‘card and scissor’ ideas with you, should you be looking for\u00a0that final little something!<\/p>\n

Chore vouchers from the children are always a fun and simple gift for them to present to their Dad – and let’s face it, getting the kids to help out at any time is a wonderful thing!\u00a0 Libby Weifenbach and Heather Roselli released the fun double-dip All In\u00a0A Days Work <\/a>a couple of months ago, and it is complemented by Heather’s DIY Printable Templates: Chore Chance<\/a>.\u00a0 I thought that, with just a tweak or two, the ready-to-print version of the\u00a0Chore Chance scheme would be a simple fun gift for any Dad on Father’s Day:<\/p>\n

I used the majority of the same vouchers that Heather included in\u00a0the ready-to-print version, and then added a few specifically tailored to my son – such as help to wash the car and help to make dinner.\u00a0 I also made my own version of the box lid so I could add text suitable for the occasion and gift, complete with a disclaimer (‘I promise not to grumble too much when this voucher is redeemed’)!\u00a0 My son is actually keen<\/em> to present this to his dad, though whether he realises he may actually have to do the work is another thing….!<\/p>\n

I used another of Heather’s templates in my next gift presentation idea: photocube gift box.<\/p>\n

This box is large enough for sufficient jellybeans to keep any Dad quiet for a while – and will make him feel wonderfully sentimental with a cute photo of the children on each side!<\/p>\n

I used the largest box from Heather’s DIY Printable Templates: Box Tower<\/a>, and then had lots of fun decorating it with papers and elements from\u00a0In Cahoots <\/a>by Melissa Bennett & Eva Kipler.\u00a0 I wanted to present my mini photos like Polaroids, and so used the cute doodly\u00a0frames from Lauren Reid’s Luckiest Day<\/a>\u00a0to achieve this.\u00a0 The final presentation touch was a simple bow of organza ribbon, which also helpfully holds the tag with my sentiment on, in place.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
