Hello! We\u2019re back to talk with our current Featured Designer, Rubia of Studio Basic Designs! We\u2019re going to show her FWP kit,\u00a0Every Moment Matters<\/a>, AND talk about a new sale that we\u2019re going to do this upcoming Tuesday! Ru’s design style is pretty eclectic so I had to ask if she scrapbooks and if that style transitions to her pages.\u00a0Here\u2019s what she said when I asked her about scrapbooking:<\/p>\n

Making pages is what I call my “me time”, my therapy, so, yes, I scrapbook! I try to do, at least, a page every week.\u00a0Here is one of my favorite pages – I like how I made all journaling and you can see me using lots of little details…<\/em><\/p>\n

This one is more “messy”, more me, lots of brushes, mixing alphas… And I just loooove those photos and that song I added as journaling… It is super us! \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/p>\n

I looooove seeing “currently” pages – I even made a collection last year to make a page myself about Brian’s, my kid, currently favorite things (I still have to make that page lol), so I love how apottinger used my collab with Blagovesta and Alice here:<\/em><\/p>\n

There is something I can’t do as scrapper: a clean and simple page! I have problems! I need to add almost all elements in every page I make. lol Sooo every time I see a page from EHStudios using my kits I keep looking and looking at it trying to understand how she does such a gorgeous pages. \ud83d\ude42 Here is on of my favorites she posted at my gallery.<\/em><\/p>\n

And finally\u2026for a little fun, give us your top 5 favorite scrapbook inspiration places (websites, magazines, etc).<\/p>\n

5? We only need one: go to Pinterest! LOL Seriously! I love looking stuff there and there is always something that can inspire me!\u00a0<\/em>But ok… 5… \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/p>\n

1 – Pinterest\u00a0<\/em>
\n2 – Facebook (and all scrapbooking related pages over there)<\/em>
\n3 – Sweet Shoppe Gallery – because I love seeing what the girls are doing\/using on their pages \ud83d\ude42<\/em>
\n4 – Instagram – I try to only follow scrapbook profiles with my Studio Basic IG and it is always fun to see things there.<\/em>
\n5 – Pinterest! SERIOUSLY! \ud83d\ude42 Click in one image, go and see all “Related Pins” from that first image… Click in another one, go to the “Related Pins”… it is something you can do FOREVER! And you can feel the inspiration for days!!! \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Now that we\u2019ve gotten to know Ru a\u00a0little better, I get to show off her 15 products that will be on sale next Tuesday!
