Using fancy border punches<\/p>\n

Border punches have become really popular and are so simple to use but might look a bit scary at first so I thought I would share a few tips to using them to achieve great results<\/p>\n

This is my favourite border punch, the loopy border punch by Martha Stewart Crafts. See the flat edges? They are what you use to line up the punched pattern so that you can cut a continuous length of border.<\/p>\n

To use the punch simply insert your paper or thin cardstock into the punch and press down the lever<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Next insert the paper back into the punch, slide it along until the part that you already punched covers up the guide patterns at the side<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then just keep punching, sliding and matching up the pattern until you get to the end of the paper – easy!<\/p>\n

Once you’ve punched out the paper trim it to the right depth and width and use it on your projects to make them look pretty \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
