Hello sweet shoppers! Col here with your weekly dose of scissors and glue. This week I thought we’d take a look at some of those fabulous Take-Out Tuesday freebies we’ve been giving away all year. Have you ever tried giving them a hybrid spin? Clusters and templates and word-art can all be messed around with to create some hybrid goodness.<\/p>\n

Take yesterday’s worn photo cluster<\/a> from Penny for example. Sure, it says<\/em> “Photo Cluster” but if you think out of the box a little bit, you’ve got a fabulous worn paper cluster you can use on a card, like I did here. I used Shawna and Lauren’s delicious new collab “We’re All Waiting for Something”<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I also took Julie’s photo cluster freebie<\/a> from last month and created a card with it using Krystal Hartley’s “Carpe Diem”<\/a> kit.<\/p>\n

Yes, I know, both example are using photo clusters. But we put out so many different ideas here on the blog every Tuesday, the inspiration is limitless! You could spin Darcy’s scrap dash template<\/a> into a card in a pinch, or use Manda’s word art<\/a> on the inside of a card for a fun twist. Sometimes it just takes a little extra thought to take that awesome freebie out of the digital box, and into some hybrid greatness!<\/p>\n
