Hello to all you cupcakes! Hope everyone is having a terrific holiday season. I’ve been enjoying the last few days chilling, shopping, and spending time with family. I really enjoyed looking through the gallery this morning–so much inspiration!! Thought I’d share a few gems that really stood out.<\/p>\n

First up is this delicate beauty by Natalie. I’ve “known” Natalie in the digiworld for a few years now, and it’s been so fun watching her style evolve. This precious page is such a perfect balance of color, depth, use of space and photo editing. I just awwwwwwww’d out loud when I saw it and knew I had to share it with you.<\/p>\n

One of the things I love about being a designer at SSD is the opportunity to create limited edition treats just for you guys…like my Rub a Dub Dub mini kit. I was so echanted by the composition of this page…so clever really…and with a kit less than half the size of something she’d normally work with.<\/p>\n

I actually fell in love with many, many of the pages in suladesigns’ gallery. She’s quite adept at making templates shine in addition to her own strong sense for composition, color, and technique. I love that she can take a themed kit and make it work for any number of subjects.<\/p>\n

And wrapping up the week is this little gem. I think it’s awesome that she made sure to tell this story even though she didn’t have perfect photos. I also love how she adapted by adding the cross to the top of the steeple. Fabulous!<\/p>\n
