Happy Friday friends! It\u2019s a new day, and we\u2019re debuting a new Featured Designer! As you know, over the past year and a bit, we’ve had all of our designers in the spotlight as our featured designers, so we’ve started fresh with a new series of featured designer FWP products that will center around the letters of the alphabet! Crystal Livesay is up next, and Crystal decided to work with the alphabet theme as a whole rather than with one particular letter. She created an amazing set of templates for us, ABC Templates<\/a>. These templates are so fun! I really love how Crystal incorporated parts of the alphabet into each one. Take a look . . .<\/p>\n

I asked Crystal a few questions about these templates and the process she went through to create them. Here’s what she had to say:<\/p>\n

Tell us a little bit about the direction you took for your letter of the alphabet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I went with general ABC templates to go with any of the letters from the awesome kit designers.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Did you find it difficult coming up with a concept for your templates?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I did struggle a bit with the ABC theme, just because if you look at my store or gallery, themes are not really how I scrap or design.<\/em> \"\"<\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I also asked Crystal a few more questions about herself, her love for this hobby of ours, and some of her favorite layouts or products:<\/p>\n

If you could use one word starting with the first letter of your name that describes something about you, what would your word be and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Creative I suppose . . . I am here as a designer after all. \"\" But I am not crafty. My head is always full of ideas and things I want to do or create (or have my husband create!).<\/em><\/p>\n

What kit are you most proud of creating in the last year? Why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am always really excited about my grab bags with Sara Gleason! They are the most fun to make and are a tradition so I really love them. <\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Is there another designer on the team who you find particularly inspiring? What about a Babe?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I LOVE Brook and all her doodles and drawings. She is so creative and talented! Also, I am always super amazed by ALL the Babes, but Sheri and her layering always blow me away!<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Your Featured Designer 15 is coming up, what product are you most excited to put on sale?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Lots to Say V.2 Templates. All that journaling takes me back to my scrapbooking roots and makes me happy. I LOVE a beautiful photo and page, but journaling and storytelling makes my heart happy!<\/em><\/p>\n

When you aren\u2019t designing digital treats, what do you spend most of your time doing?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I love to read and work on my photography.<\/em>\"\"<\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Do you have a design soulmate? Someone you can always count on to bring out the best in you as a designer? Who is it and why are you so proud of what the two of you have created together?<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are a few! I would say Sara Gleason . . . she brings out the best in me has a human, not just designer, and I LOVE working with her even though we don’t get to do it as often as we would like!<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Show us three layouts from your creative team that made you smile when you saw them.<\/strong><\/p>\n
