Happy Friday friends! It\u2019s a new day, and we\u2019re debuting a new Featured Designer! As you know, over the past year and a bit, we’ve had all of our designers in the spotlight as our featured designers, so we’ve started fresh with a new series of featured designer FWP products that will center around the letters of the alphabet! Willemijne of Digital Scrapbook Ingredients is up next with the letter “R”, and she has\u00a0an amazing kit for us, R is for Roam<\/a>.\u00a0I’m looking forward to an amazing trip that I get to take next summer, and I’ve recently become slightly obsessed with travel themed kits. This one very quickly went to the top of my list of favorites. I just love the color scheme and the wooden word bits! Take a look . . .<\/p>\n

I asked Willemijne a few questions about her kit and the process she went through to create it. Here’s what she had to say:<\/p>\n

Tell us a little bit about the direction you took for your letter of the alphabet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I went with R is for Roam. That was actually the first thing that came to mind, and as I love designing travel kits it seemed perfectly fitting! I did brainstorm for a bit for other ideas but kept coming back to this!<\/span>.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Did you find it difficult coming up with a concept for your templates?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I did struggle a bit with the ABC theme, just because if you look at my store or gallery, themes are not really how I scrap or design.<\/em> \"\"<\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I also asked her a few more questions about herself, her love for this hobby of ours, and some of her favorite layouts or products:<\/p>\n

What kit are you most proud of creating in the last year? Why?<\/b><\/p>\n

I think I’m the most proud of designing my On The Trail and Under The Stars collection. We love to go hiking and camping and still have lots of pictures to scrap and I think this turned out very versatile for outdoor lovers!<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

I think I’m most excited about putting Written in the Stars on sale. It’s been a few months since I designed it but you can use it in any season!<\/em>

When you aren\u2019t designing digital treats, what do you spend most of your time doing?<\/b><\/p>\n

Outside of designing I spend all of my time with my little boy! We love to go out and about on the weekends as well as a family!<\/i><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Babes created some\u00a0gorgeous layouts with R Is for Roam. I was seriously blown away by the wonderful, unique pages the Babes produced with this kit! They really show off how amazing Willemijne’s kit is,\u00a0and we hope their pages inspire you.<\/p>\n
