It’s always fun to see what products are a designer’s favorite, so I’ve asked Traci to share three of hers with me!<\/p>\n
My favorite kits are always very recent. I think I grow and get better with every product I make, so I don’t keep a favorite for very long – they’re always being replaced!! These three products because they were made with specific purposes in mind that are special to me.<\/p>\n
I made Monkeying Around<\/a> for my son Josiah since I have so many pictures of him hanging off of things like the little monkey he is!<\/p>\n I made Haven’t Met Him Yet<\/a> for my son who is yet to be born. I wanted a kit about pregnancy that was mommy centric instead of baby centric so I could scrap my own photos.<\/p>\n I made My Other Loves<\/a> with Heather Roselli to not only fulfill a request in the community but also because I have so many non-scrap projects going undocumented that I really wanted a beautiful kit to scrap them all with!<\/p>\n How did you get started designing? <\/strong><\/p>\n I started designing a long time ago when Digiscrapping was very new and the market was still very small. I started making freebies for different challenges at Scrapbook-Bytes and then started selling a short time later. I started two websites and sold at three other sites before settling in at the Sweet Shoppe. I’ve been here for three years now.<\/p>\n What is your best-selling product?<\/strong><\/p>\n My Bad Sewing Machine line is by far my greatest seller. Everybody loves stitches and there is something for everyone with this line. The Don’t Be a Square sets do the best!!<\/p>\n What is your favorite part of the design process? <\/strong><\/p>\n Choosing themes and colors, brainstorming elements, papers, etc. I like really having a plan so that I can make life easier and design more quickly. It’s easier to put more effort into designing when you know where you’re going with it.<\/p>\n Do you have any other hobbies outside of designing and scrapping?<\/strong><\/p>\n Yes!!
