September is a month of birthdays around here! Not only was yesterday mine and my husband’s birthday… but 3 years ago today I took the designing leap and opened the doors to my very own store www.designbydani.com. We had a huge grand opening chat and I distinctly remember us crashing the small server we thought would be plenty of bandwidth in a mere 10 minutes! LOL! Thanks to my technical support… aka my computer geek husband… we got everything back up and running and since then… WOW what a crazy ride it has been! 2 Server upgrades, a site redesign and many many new releases afterward we are still up and running and I am still living my dream of being able to stay at home and still do the design work I love, and I couldn’t do it without the amazing support of the digi-community! Since joining the team at Sweet Shoppe I have truly found my digi home! I am so proud to be part of the amazing team here!<\/div>\n
Last month I released “Birthday Cake: A Second Helping.” It is a complete overhaul of the very first kit I had up in my store for the grand opening. I loved the pairing of chocolate, cream and pastels that worked great for boys and girls then, and I love it even more now in the updated kit! I have seen AMAZING layouts gracing the galleries with this kit, and I wanted to share some Dani’s Girls inspiration with you!<\/p>\n
