This year marks my 15th wedding anniversary! I made the decision that we would finally take a trip and getaway for a long weekend without the boys. So I started brainstorming. I thought maybe we could\u00a0go here\u2026<\/p>\n

\n\u2026and of course my husband laughed at me. So then I thought that’s fine. What about here?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then my husband said I think we need to drive to our destination. In other words, no budget for a plane trip. So I thought of other places\u2026Boston, New York, Vermont?\u00a0 They all seemed so common and ho hum. Then it dawned on me, we can go here\u2026
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nMontreal is only five hours away. It does involve the both of us getting passports, but I think we can swing that. The city offers history, nightlife and museums. It’s like going to a European country without the plane ride!<\/p>\n

I’m sure it will be lovely in September. So now I’ll need to book a hotel and get the forms for passports. Very exciting! Before I did that though I had my little guy take a photo of me and my husband together. Then I dug out the wedding album and scanned in a photo. Here’s the resulting page…and I still love him even if he won’t spring for Paris!<\/p>\n
