Erin here with today&#8217;s post. I originally was going to post about\u00a0the sewing projects for the new baby\u00a0but my sewing machine decided to break down mid-project so I wasn&#8217;t able to finish! (this is what I was making &#8211; a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prudentbaby.com\/2010\/01\/diy-nursing-cover.html\">nursing cover <\/a>and a <a href=\"http:\/\/grosgrainfabulous.blogspot.com\/2010\/04\/no-pattern-quick-and-dirty-boppy.html\">boppy cover<\/a>!) Thankfully my MIL took the projects back home with her to finish so I won&#8217;t have to wait for my sewing machine to get fixed before finishing them up.<\/p>\n<p>Anyways &#8211; since that project went bust, I decided to post about the fun afternoon Blake and I had on Monday. I&#8217;ve been putting off going thru all the hand-me-down baby clothes because I knew it would be\u00a0a daunting task. But since the baby is due in less then 3 weeks (and heck he might even be early!) I knew I couldn&#8217;t put it off any longer.\u00a0\u00a0But you know what? The task actually ended up being kind\u00a0of fun! Blake loved looking\u00a0at the clothes he wore &#8211;\u00a0he even tried to put a few of the items on! (I told\u00a0him it wouldn&#8217;t work but he had to try!)\u00a0His favorite outfits are ones\u00a0that have\u00a0dinosaurs on them and\u00a0anything Halloween.\u00a0 He was\u00a0quite excited to discover that a Halloween bib actually fit him! LOL Silly boy \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"818blogpost1\" src=\"http:\/\/i238.photobucket.com\/albums\/ff258\/eranslow\/818blogpost1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"762\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Also on Monday I was able to set up the bassinett.\u00a0 And this bassinett is pretty special for my family.\u00a0 It has been handed down for over 50 years.\u00a0 My mom was the first baby to sleep in it.\u00a0 Our new baby will be the 9th. So it is very special to have this bassinett set up and ready to go. It makes me wonder who will be the next in my family to use it?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"818blogpost2\" src=\"http:\/\/i238.photobucket.com\/albums\/ff258\/eranslow\/818blogpost2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"398\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Alrighty &#8211; that&#8217;s it from\u00a0me today.\u00a0 All those baby clothes we sorted thru and washed? Well they are sitting in a laundry basket because I need to make room in the closet and dresser for them!
