Hi Sweet Shoppers! Happy Thursday! Stephanie here bringing you yet another day of bliss.<\/p>\n

Today marks a momentous occasion in the Czosnek Household. Today is my 10th<\/sup> anniversary to my hubby, Andy.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Leading up to today, Andy & I have been talking about going away (which we are) for the long weekend. My eldest daughter is starting to question all reasons behind my actions, so explain to her what an \u201canniversary is\u201d has been tough. She has been to a few weddings and probably remembers only one vividly. Side note: this was the same wedding of our good friends that Jillian loudly asked in church after the bride and groom kissed \u2013 \u201cDoes Katie have a baby in her tummy now?\u201d The pews around us giggled.<\/p>\n

I pulled out our wedding album \u2013 the few photos that there are.\u00a0 Yes, we spent money on a photographer, but she sent her photos away to be developed. Then happened September 11th<\/sup> only 10 days later. The Fed Ex box was smashed beyond repair and \u00bd of my wedding photos lost. Somewhere. Yes, sadness still grips my heart. Sure, I have the memories, but these were family photos in the church. We\u2019ve since lost a few family members \u2013 the most notable Andy\u2019s dad \u2013 Pops.<\/p>\n

After much explaining about whom everyone is and pointing out little things, my girls get it. I think. The anniversary marks the day that we were married.<\/p>\n

But being married goes so beyond that actual day.<\/p>\n

Being married is being a team. Being open in communication and just knowing what each other needs.\u00a0 Its work \u2013 sometimes its hard work other times it is easy. It\u2019s passing each other in the hallway as one is off to supervise showers and the other is off to wash the dishes and saying \u201chi\u201d and planting a kiss on each other.\u00a0 It is the evening talks while we are preparing dinner. \u00a0It is laughing uncontrollably as one of you does something incredibly stupid and funny.\u00a0 It is just sitting quietly as you take in a ball game and a glass of wine at night after the girls have gone to bed.<\/p>\n

Without him, I would not be a Czosnek.\u00a0 Without him \u2013 I would not have these beauties \u2013 Jillian on the left, Evelyn on the right. Without him – I would not be who I am<\/p>\n

today.<\/p>\n

And I love him more today than I did 10 years ago.\u00a0 And yes, he still gives me butterflies in my tummy when I think about him.<\/p>\n

So tonight \u2013 we\u2019ll celebrate like we did our first year of marriage. A Black forest Torte Sundae at Kopp\u2019s Custard. 2 spoons \u2013 one large sundae. By the waterfall. No kids, just us.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
