It&#8217;s Celeste here. Way back in May I told you about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetshoppedesigns.com\/?p=6920\">my anniversary vacation hopes and realities<\/a>. Remember Paris? I had settled on Montreal, but of course neither of us got our act together and actually signed up for a passport. We were in quite a conundrum and really didn&#8217;t have any idea what to do. Then it hit me, the beginning of our relationship was spent on Martha&#8217;s Vineyard. We lived and worked there, got engaged there, and were even married on the island. We hadn&#8217;t been back in ten years. What better time to getaway for the weekend than now?<\/p>\n<p>So this past weekend, we headed to the ferry and had a whirlwind tour of all of our old haunts.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/farm7.static.flickr.com\/6158\/6186592943_a092f483d1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There is no bridge to the Vineyard. You have to take a 45 minute ferry ride to get there.<\/p>\n<p>We saw some old friends and ate in some of our most favorite restaurants\/farm stands!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/farm7.static.flickr.com\/6152\/6187139036_88e496e3b0.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"449\" height=\"298\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We visited the place we were engaged and the new library that replaced the one I used to work in. My first &#8220;real&#8221; job.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/farm7.static.flickr.com\/6162\/6186622011_e21f633863.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It was a fabulous weekend for just the two of us.
