We’ve been prepping for today for weeks at this point, and I’m so excited to finally share everything our amazing team has been working on. There’s SO much happening around the site this weekend, and what better way to kick off the festivities than with a ridiculously HUGE Sweet Shoppe newsletter for you to indulge in!

Everything you need to know about our celebration of the hobby we love is below, so keep reading for the scoop on our scrumptious storewide sale, the fun and games happening in our forums, and how you can snag our gorgeous limited edition DSD mega-collection, Botanimagic. With tons of brand new releases hitting the shoppe tonight, it’s truly one of the very best times of the year to treat yourself to something sweet!

"Save

As usual, our designers have completely outdone themselves with an incredible lineup of new treats. Every new release is amazing, and the layouts from our talented Babes are sure to get those creative wheels turning. I’m always blown away by the team during special events like this, and this DSD is no exception. They’ve gone above and beyond to impress and inspire you! And the best part? Every single product in the shoppe is a whopping 40% off through Tuesday at Noon ET, including this weekend’s brand new releases!

Let’s get right into it with your first look at…

Behind the scenes, it has been so much fun watching our team work their magic over the past couple of weeks! Our designers have been incredibly busy creating new products, the Babes have scrapped dozens of gorgeous layouts, and everyone has been working hard to get ready for this year’s big event. There has been SO much happening, and I’m absolutely blown away by everything they’ve created for you this year!

As you can imagine, there’s a TON of fresh inspiration hitting the shoppe this weekend, and it’s impossible to show everything here. You’ll find new templates, scoops, solos, and collabs with talented designers from across the community, plus oodles of goodies for your seasonal memories, sweet everyday moments, and so much more. Be sure to explore our DSD New Releases closely, and maybe check back over the weekend so you don’t miss a single scrumptious addition!

On top of all that, we also have a fantastic freebie from our newest Featured Designer, the one and only Kristin Cronin-Barrow, who stepped into the spotlight on our blog just a few moments ago! Her contribution to this year’s series of freebies is absolutely gorgeous. In fact, I’d say it’s Made of Magic and perfect for scrapping your hopes, dreams, and everything in between! Click the links below to get to know Kristin a little better and grab her gorgeous freebie when you spend $10 in the shoppe through October 16th.

"Featured"Free

If Kristin’s gorgeous kit isn’t enough reason to shop, our entire crew has put together an incredible limited edition mega-collab that’s FREE when you spend $20 in the shoppe over the next week! I’ve been obsessed with this one since the day I shared the inspiration with the designers, and my gosh, they nailed the design brief this time around!

Meet Botanimagic… it’s filled with a soft, dreamy palette of blush pinks, lavender, peach, blue, and tons of warm neutrals. You’ll find gorgeous florals, delicate butterflies, sweet little mushrooms, leafy botanicals, and all kinds of whimsical details that make this collection feel like something straight out of an enchanted garden. Add in charming word art, a hint of a bygone era, playful little touches, and so many beautiful papers and elements to play with, and you’ll have everything you need to create pages that feel just as magical as the memories you’re documenting.

And it’s HUGE, so I know you’ll love having it in your stash and reaching for it again and again. Check out the details…

"Get

I seriously adore seeing what our amazing team does from week to week, and I really hope you enjoy seeing what they’ve been up to too! They scrapped soooo many pages this week featuring all of our newest releases, Kristin’s Featured Designer Freebie, and Botanimagic, so I thought I’d show off just some of the amazing layouts the Babes have scrapped this week!

I won’t come close to showing them all off here, so if you want to see more, be sure to stop by the SugarBabe Gallery to see what they’ve been creating with all of our DSD goodies. And don’t forget to check out the mini galleries on each of our product pages too, where you’ll find tons of ideas for putting our stuff to work in your own scrapbooks!

Speaking of the gallery, we love seeing your pages too! That’s why we’ve cooked up a brand new way to join in on the DSD fun this year. The DSD Dash starts now, and whether you’re in the mood to shop, scrap, chat, or do a little bit of everything, there’s a way for you to play along.

We wanted this year’s celebration to be easygoing and flexible, because we know everyone’s weekend looks a little different. Pick the parts that sound fun to you, keep track of your activities, and you’ll have chances to win some pretty sweet prizes along the way! And even if you don’t have time to play or scrap along in the forums, be sure to stop by and enter the Shop-N-Dash for a chance to win a $100 Sweet Shoppe gift certificate when you do some shopping!

So visit the forums to grab your DSD Dash Tracker, choose your own adventure, and let’s see how much fun we can pack into one weekend!

"DSD

Whew… that’s a LOT! I think I’ve covered the big stuff, but I hope you’ll keep popping in throughout the weekend to see what’s going on. There’s plenty of fun to be had in the DSD forum, and we’ll be sharing more inspiration and DSD goodness on Instagram and Facebook too. So keep an eye on all three so you don’t miss a thing!

Before I wrap things up, I just want to say THANK YOU for being the heart of Sweet Shoppe Designs. After 20 years of doing this, I never take for granted that you’re still here, still creating, still sharing your pages, and still making this little corner of the internet such a special place to be. We truly couldn’t do any of this without you.

So whether you’ve been counting down to DSD right along with us or you’re just finding your way back to the shoppe, I hope you’ll spend a little time with us this weekend. Shop a little, scrap a little, play along with the DSD Dash, chat with your fellow scrappers, and most importantly, have FUN!

I’ll be back in your inbox soon to remind you about the final hours to save this DSD, but until then, I hope you have an absolutely fantastic and inspiring weekend. Thanks for celebrating with us, Sweet Shoppers, and as always…

Keep making those sweet memories so you can scrap MORE!
