Annndd just like that…. we blinked and it’s the beginning of August! In the US, we’re getting ready for back to school but still scrapping photos from family vacations and hot summer days. The Gallery is filled with sunshine, bright colors and, of course, plenty of scrappy inspiration! So head on in there if you’re […]
It’s never easy to say goodbye to one of our designers. Over the years, they become our friends, people we can count on for creative inspiration and new ways to tell our family’s stories. Each designer has their own unique style, their signature… that vibe you get when you browse their stores. Rachel’s products are […]
One more week of 2017 down and it’s time for the next episode of Tuck It In Tuesday! This is where we scour the Sweet Shoppe Gallery each week and pick a few of the pocket style layouts to showcase and share with YOU! Here’s what I found for you: See you back here next […]
How important is color to you when you’re scrapbooking? Are you like me in that you’re often actively searching for someTHING of a certain color to put “right there” in that space on your page? I don’t know if it’s a result of my early scrapping design days learning about repetition and balance or if […]
It’s always fun to see just how many different ways that your fellow scrappers use the pocket style format. Some in a traditional manner for everyday moments or weekly documentation, others for events like holidays or birthdays. Sometimes telling funny stories, other times introspective. Some clean and graphic, others embellished and full. That’s the beauty […]
Did you know that today is International Kissing Day? We get kisses all the time… on the lips, on the cheek, slobbery dog kisses on the nose. No matter where or from whom, they mean we are loved. Wouldn’t it be fun to track all the kisses we give and get during a day? I […]
There’s a whole lot of red, white and blue in The Gallery at Sweet Shoppe right now! And that is to be expected because it’s the 4th of July here in the U.S., a time where we come together and celebrate the birth of our nation. There will be fireworks, parades, kids holding sparklers and […]
Good morning Sweet Shoppers! One of my favorite sites to visit is daysoftheyear.com. It has some pretty awesome and funny days (weeks or months) to celebrate. I was looking through it and saw that today, July 3 is Disobedience Day! Did you even know that’s a day to celebrate?! I don’t know if it’s something I’d love […]
Next Tuesday is when we celebrate America’s independence here in the U.S. For many of us, it’s a free day to be spent with family, the kids eating ice cream and waving around sparklers after dark, time spent in lakes and pools cooling off from the heat, picnics or barbeques with friends. Often, the evenings […]
The Sweet Shoppe Gallery is on fire with lots of bright, bold colors these days! Sunshine, green grass and time spent outdoors seem to be the main focus, not surprising because many of us are in the midst of summer. If you’re looking for scrapping inspiration, pocket style or otherwise, the Gallery is a great […]
Saturday is a fun day full of celebrations for a lot of our friends that live in Canada! July 1st is Canada Day! A day of celebrating, it celebrates when the British North America Act (now called the Constitution Act of 1867) was put into place. It united the 3 separate colonies of Canada, Nova Scotia, […]
Did you know that yesterday was Selfie Day? I’ll go out on a limb and say you probably have at least one or two on your phone right now. Have you scrapped about selfies and how popular they’ve become in recent years? Have you scrapped a silly selfie with a flower bouquet Snapchat filter? Have […]
