Where do you call home?

College Station, Texas

Tell us a little about your family…

I’ve been married to my husband since 2002, and I stay busy as a stay-at-home mom to our three children. As a family, we especially enjoy music, playing games and road tripping.

When did you join Sweet Shoppe Designs, and what’s your favorite thing about being a member of the team?

A friend introduced me to digital scrapbooking in 2008, I found SSD, and I’ve been here ever since. I enjoy the community of scrappers and being inspired by all of the creativity and great products. It is great to get to share the love that I have of scrapping with other people. Becoming a Babe in 2016 allowed me to have my dream job!

Where do you find inspiration for your pages?

I find a lot of inspiration for my pages from other scrappers. Their talent and creativity is really amazing! Although I have my own style, it is fun to try new things and to look around to find inspiration everywhere.

What are your must-have digi-scrap supplies and what kind of gear do you use for scrapping & photography?

I tend to think about color a lot when I scrap, so I am drawn to kits with great color schemes. I love dots, stripes and plaids and lots of flowers and greenery. I like clustering, so I look for elements that will cluster well. I scrap in Photoshop and use Lightroom and RadLab for photo editing. I shoot photos on my Canon T5i DSLR with a 30mm f1.4 lens. When a year ends, I get excited because it is time to finally print my family’s yearly scrapbook. There is nothing quite like getting that printed book in hand and seeing all that we’ve done (and all that I’ve scrapped) for the year!

What is something we may not know about you?

When I’m not scrapping or taking care of my family, I also enjoy singing and planning our family road trips. I am ridiculously organized. To-do lists, orderly closets, everything in its place… these are things that make me happy!

Making your memories sweeter
