As many of you probably know, 2011 started out as one of the worst years my family and I ever had when we lost our home to the Queensland Floods in January. We were facing one of the biggest challenges of our lives, but because of the kindness of strangers we were able to go back home. I have learnt so much from this experience - about myself, my inner strength, my love for my family, and above all that there is so much kindness in the world and so many things to be thankful for. So now I count my blessings every day - and I have a lot!
