Hola, Sweet Shoppers! Lex here, and I’m so excited to bring you the first November Portfolio Bonus Challenge! For the longest time my desktop wallpaper was one I had made using my One Little Word, MOVE. I felt like changing it up some weeks ago, and a friend had recommended Smashing Magazine’s monthly roundup of various wallpapers, many of which came with calendars. They are gorgeous and run a gamut of styles, from using vector graphics to gorgeous photography. I had so much fun going through them and now have a few I regularly change up when I feel like it. I found I have a weakness for wallpapers with inspiring quotes!

Your challenge–should you choose to accept it–is to use any one (or two, or more!) of these wallpapers as inspiration for a layout, or even your photo to be used in a layout. Link us up to the wallpaper/s that inspired you in your credits. This earns you one bonus point for your portfolio. Label your layout as “Blog Bonus Challenge #1” in your November Portfolio.
