Hi ladies, me again! Arent you sick of seeing my name on the BabeWatch all the time? 😉 No one had the assignment for this week so I volunteered for this spot because I just would like to share the Babe’s excitement of having new SugarBabes! (As Amy would say, “MORE MEAT!!LOL!). I guess I can smile about it now, but the past week has been HARD for all of US! Imagine having to pick three spots to fill with over 114 applications!! Before you go asking why I had access to the applications, I just would like to tell you that, here at SSD, we are really a big sorority of sisters who discuss about anything that involves the shoppe (and then some, LOL). When I saw the BabeCall thread over at our forum, I was all “EEEK! Am I seeing all those names?!?!” and was so overwhelmed with the talent the applicants have! It honestly made me feel lucky to be part of SSD already (so yes, no leaving for me anytime in the long future, can I say never?!). It was so hard to vote for just three, so I voted for four, which made Robin’s job for tallying votes extra hard. Did you know she was up till 5AM tallying things up? So instead of three, we got FOUR Sugarbabes! Amazing huh? SSD is always full of surprises!

On behalf of the rest of the Sugarbabes, we are so pleased to welcome Dixi, Jennifer, Julie and Novita!!! We cant wait to work with you guys! We are so sure you are going to rock promoting SSD stuff and keeping the forums and challenges alive. (Let’s make this a “decent” post and spare the talk about llamas and b**bs on the CT forum, eh?!) I hope you had a blast reading all the posts in our Welcome Thread 😀 It really is good that all of you dont scare easily 🙂 Just make sure you comply with the photo requirement 😀

And to the rest of the amazingly talented scrappers who applied, we really cannot thank you enough for always trying out for the spot. Most of you have gotten the (awesome) rejection letter for more than three times already, and we are touched that you still apply. My advice is to always always keep on trying! I got me rejection letter thrice before it was a SWEET yes for me, and Im sure your time will come. I would like to really commend Robin for her e-mails too, doesnt it warm the heart? 😀 To be honest, I have kept the rejection emails and the SWEET announcement in my inbox – that deserves a scrap page in the future, dont you think? 🙂

So, no layouts for me today, as we are hard at work for next month’s TOTM and the plans for NSD! We hope to see you here next week with the launch of SSD’s new designers and the plans for the weekend!
