This week we’re spotlighting SugarBabe Carrie! We hope you guys are loving these 4 in ’14 spotlights as much as we are!

Selfies
I am the type of person that takes lots of selfies and ends up deleting them right away because I think I look like a dork trying to take a selfie. I don’t know why. I almost always keep the ones that I take with my children because, let’s face it, those are usually the only times we are in photos together.

Fave Layouts
I tried to pick layouts that encompass my own creativity. In other words, layouts where I didn’t use a template. Haha! Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE using templates but I also love when I can come up with something beautiful all on my own.
1. I Love Me – This layout is probably my #1 favorite of the year. I’d also like to think that it helped me land this Babe gig since it was one that I submitted when I applied. I just love how fun it turned out and that it also has a pretty powerful message to it.
2. Destination Paradise – We are on countdown mode (yeah, yeah, it’s still a year away) for our Hawaii trip in June 2015. It will be here before we know it. I find myself constantly looking for different things to do and different places to eat.
3. We Are Family – We took the kids to Disneyland during Thanksgiving Break. We had a blast. It was the first time any of us had seen it decorated for the holidays. It was simply MAGICAL.
4. XOXO – Meet my babes. Mattisen (Mattie) will be eleven in July and Cole (Coley) is six. They are my world and have changed my life for the better

Most Used Stash
I have so many products in my stash that I use over and over and over again. I’ll never tire of them. Here are just a few of those products.
1. Little Sew and Sew Lines by Erica Zane – I love me some stitches. Even more, I love me some Erica Zane stitches. LOL! These ones I love especially because there are several different sizes and styles in one pack. She also makes them in optional colors, too. It’s a no brainer!
2. Trimmed Strips Clipping Masks by Misty Cato – I know that Aly included these in her spotlight and here they are again. Go out and grab these from the shop scrappers!
3. Border it Up #1 by Studio Basic – Ru makes some really great borders that she includes in her kits. I love that these are so easy to use and add just the right touch to a layout. They are so versatile.
4. Brushed: February Value Bundle by Penny Springmann – I love paints and painty words. This bundle has it all!
Green Smoothies
I have become quite the green smoothie drinker. I love them. I love that I can have a different smoothie every day because there is so much variety. I found a website that does 30-day challenges and entered myself. I wasn’t sure that I could hang for the 30 days. I mean, they are green. But, I’ve gone beyond those 30 days and haven’t looked back. I usually have one every day. They are filling, refreshing and very healthy. My most favorite is a pina colada inspired smoothie.
Most Followed Pinterest Boards (see attached)
I’ll be the first to admit that I’m addicted to Pinterest. I pin a lot. I even have the quick button in my toolbar to make my obsession a whole lot easier to access. I’ve had lots of people tell me that I need to stop pinning food because the recipes always look so yummy. I even had one of my boards spotlighted by the people at Pinterest and Pinterest invited me to post to their recipe board. I think that’s pretty freaking cool.
