This is me
Hi everyone! My name is Jackie and I live in Singapore with my husband and our two girls (age 7 and 3). I don’t have a lot of photos of myself, I love taking pictures of my girls and a lot of times we take pictures together too.
My Fave layouts
I love scrapbooking pictures of my kids, I just do. I want to tell their stories and preserve memories of their now. I want to have books filled with their childhood stories and someday when I’m old and grey I can look at them and have a grateful heart. I also love to scrapbook our travel adventures, I am hopeful that one day I could have a finished travel album.
My Fave Products
Cindy’s templates – I just love how many photos I can scrap with her templates and how much layering I can do. There’s so many beautiful papers in the kits and it’s so great to be able to use a lot of them.
Traci’s pocket life bundle – I am doing pocket scrapbooking this year and Traci’s pocket life bundle is so perfect for it.
Zoe’s Friends Foever kit – I have daughters so any kit with flowers on them and have a girly color pallette works great for me.
Yari’s About our Family – Word bits – I love adding wordy bits on my pages, I think it adds that perfect finishing touch to a page.
Some of the places I’ve been
Tokyo, Japan – We’ve been to Japan a few times and we always have a great time there. I love japanese food so I’m right at home in the land of ramen, sushi and sashimi. We’re also big Hello Kitty fans so seeing the Sanrio gang at Puroland is always fun.
Sydney, Australia – We have family who lives in Australia and we loved going there in the winter. Yes winter, because we live in Singapore where it’s almost always sunny and humid (unless it’s raining but then rain mostly last a few hours then it’s sunny again). We are hoping to go there again school break of next year. I’m quite happy that my daughter’s school break falls on winter season there.
USA (Los Angeles) – Hollywood! I love the outlet stores(haha), and Target…and Disneyland California. We were there for almost a month so we visited a lot of places more than once and it was great.
USA (Seattle) – We have family in Seattle so we went there to see than while we were in the US. Of course we couldn’t go to Seattle without going to the Space Needle.
We have lots of fond memories traveling as a family. So far my kids have seen so great with long flights and I’m very thankful.
My favorite things right now
Owls – I’m loving owls right now. I love these cute pen holders I got from a store called Typo (it was on sale too!).
Planners – I am still working out the being organized part but I already have a collection of planners, I currently have over a dozen of them. Mostly are Filofax but I also have a few KikkiK planners(it’s an Australian store but we have an outlet here) and a Kate Spade. I’m also looking into an Erin Condren planner. Basically I like hoarding lol.
Mint and gold combo – It can also be pink and gold or lilac and gold, I love accents of gold on my things lately. These pens are just from Daiso, a good find because it also writes well. I won’t show the rest my pen collection here because then I will certainly seem like a hoarder.
Instaxshare printer – I’ve always wanted to buy one of those polaroid camera but never got around to it (I couldn’t decide which one to get) so when this came out I was thrilled. It can print photos from my phone directly so I don’t need to choose a camera. I’m still working on getting the print quality just right though and I have the film to show for it.
