From Our Blog 2 Yours
Gooooooooood morning!

One of my favorite parts of Christmas is the movies that they show in the month of December. We have a stack of holiday DVDs that we watch every year (sometimes multiple times!) But my very very favorite Christmas movie is one that I don’t own on DVD… A Christmas Story. Seriously, it’s not really Christmas until the 24 hr marathon starts on Christmas Eve! My whole family loves this movie so much that we all quote it year-round. But we just can’t bring ourselves to actually watch it any time but during the marathon… it’s a tradition. It’s almost like we think we’d be ruining some of the joy by watching early. I don’t know, but whatever the reason, we ONLY watch it on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. We make up for it by watching it no less than 4 times completely through and several more times in flipping over just to catch our favorite parts!
So tell me about your favorite holiday movies! Is there one that you watch every year? Do you love too many that you just can’t choose? Give me the scoop! If you don’t celebrate Christmas, feel free to tell us about another movie.
As always, post your response on your own blog and link back here in the comments to earn a Sweet Rewards Point!

I love all of the Christmas programs that they have on TV!!
My all-time favorite, from childhood, is the original Frosty the Snowman…which I have not seen on TV yet.

I adore your choice. I can’t wait for Christmas, I usually watch a movie while enjoying the festivities of the season… wrapping presents, baking cookies, decorating the tree…I have to say that I love It’s a Wonderful Life and the modern twist on it Family Man with Nicholas Cage…These movies make me truely appreciate my family and what I have.

Sorry I don’t have a blog so I have to post here. I LOVE CHRISTMAS MOVIES. We watch them every year and sometimes more then once or twice. We start watching mid November. We start with movies that have Christmas in them but not the traditional Christmas movies. We watch Love Actually, The Family Stone, The Family Man, Grinch, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, Bad Santa, Elf, Scrooged,
A Christmas Story (which we are watching tonight), It’s a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol and Home Alone. I also love listening to Christmas Music. I always have it on in the background.

Am I too late?
we have my favorite holiday movie….
That would HAVE to be Christmas Vacation. I have always and forever loved that movie. It’s hilarious. Perfect for me, it turned out that my DH loves it too and he always watches it this time of year…so no begging there. We already watched it once. I am sure we will watch it again.
Now as for DS……….he’s watched the Polar Exress at LEAST 25 times and Caillou’s Christmas Movie about 5 (but it JUST aired on Monday afternoon…..)

We enjoy watching any of the Christmas movies that are shown on TV. My favorite from when I was little was Alvin and the Chipmunks and Charlie Brown. My son enjoys these, but also loves Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman

The Polar Express has become a favorite for my family. I myself also love Borrowed Hearts and Three Days, they air frequently on ABC Family around Christmas.
