Sweet Gallery Standouts 3/25/08
I had a lot of fun this morning browsing the gallery looking for pages that really stand out. I added a lot to my favorites, and I’m going to share four of those with you now.
First up is Teresa Ferguson’s Easter Tradition, done for the Recipe Challenge. Teresa is one of my most favorite scrappers; I’ve been following her “work” back before there even WAS a Sweet Shoppe. Her sense of design is amazing, and I end up buying whatever she uses in the hopes that it will make me scrap like her. But enough about my crush, here is her amazing page:

Juliemarie did a fabulous job with this hybrid layout for the Paper 2 Digi Challenge:

Totally makes me wish I had someone to scrap on a background of flowers. {sniff sniff}
I love how Stacey42 used the cookie for Cookie Decorating 101 in Build Me A Track! Isn’t it fun how she put pictures in the blocks instead of paper?! And I love her big title along the bottom. Great page, Stacey!

Last week I challenged you to scrap a conversation for the Scrap with the Sugarbabes Challenge, and I just loved syapotter’s Conversation. Her design really stood out to me, and I especially enjoyed it since I could actually read her journaling *on* the page because, you know, I {chest bursting with pride} speak two languages. (and learning a second language as an adult is definitely something you brag about whenever you get a chance, lol)

Well, ladies, that is certainly not all of the fabulous inspiration I found in the gallery this week, but they do limit me to four picks. 🙁 Keep scrappin’ those challenges and maybe you’ll be featured next week! Congrats to all of our standouts!
